Do the Democrats have the same feeling about Bush as the Jeffersonians for John Jay?

Remember the cry of the Jeffersonians because of the Treaty of London. It went something like this and if you are a Democrat just put in the name of Bush instead of John Jay. "Damn John Jay. Damn everyone that does not damn John Jay. Damn everyone that does not put lights in the window and damn John Jay all night." Those were the days when political rhetoric was much more restrained and refined, right?
