How do I ask my Best Guyfriend to Sadies?

So i've known this guy for about 6 months now and we're really close. He told me he love LOVEs me but he only said it once and now im sort of confused on this whole situation. Despite that we are still very close friends. So i wanna ask him to Sadies in a creative way but not too over the top, just something simple and cute. Any ideas?
