What do you think of Al Gore's speech?

In a speech in front of 20,000 at the Cow Palace in Oakland, Ca. Al Gore Jr said he would be in favor of eliminating cows in the US. Yes this is true!. When asked what we should do to combat the problem of gas caused by cows he said he would favor a one time government subsidy of $1,000 for every cow slaughtered by dairy and other farmers. When further pressed to go into details he said that if this led to the elimination of cows in the US he would not have a problem with that. He also said that if this caused a rift with him and PETA he would side with what is best for the Earth. Mr Gore received a standing ovation at the end of his speech. Also why has this speech delivered Saturday June 6, 20089 been kept out of the mainstream media? Even Fox News had no coverage of this speech.
