I just overclocked my CPU and lost my sound.?

this might not be any help, but i managed to bump mine up by about 45 without it having any affect on my pc. it might be a problem with the motherboard. are you sure your audio jack is working correctly? as the motherboard overheating could have done something to the audio jack. or is it software related?
