Please Help! Write combination reactions.?

The way i learn is that you put the metal in front of the nonmetal. For example aluminum hydroxide is AlH3 [Al for aluminum and H for Hydrogen And 3 is the small number on the bottom where you get for the Al Charge of +3 which go to the other side with you cris-cross] aluminun iodide is AlI3 and Aluminum nitride is AlN [since nitrogen have a -3 charge when cris-cross with aluminum the charges cancel] i hope that helps. and about the physical state of each compound i dont think you can predict the state from this much information i think you need to read the text to know.
